Celebration for 70th Anniversary of War World II Victory

Hello everyone! This year is the 70th anniversary of the end of World War II. Although we were not born in that war-torn era, our mother country, China is the main battlefield of World War II in Asia. Since the Meiji Restoration, resource-poor Japan and colonial plunder of resources in 1895 and twice in 1931, the invasion of China. Since 1931 the Japanese occupation of Northeast China beginning 1945, the Chinese nation has experienced blood and fire to fight hard, we paid a huge sacrifice 10 million soldiers and civilians (estimated). Japan announced the surrender on August 15, and signed surrender on September 2. Chinese Theater surrender ceremony was held on September 3. The victory changed the bullying situation of the Opium War from the Chinese nation, the Chinese paid a huge sacrifice to be reborn after. Today, China's economic development and international image enhancement status are closely linked with the war that year.

Although we did not experience the war, although we choose to live abroad, but should not forget that 70 years ago, the post-war world order laid an important moment. We should not forget the major historical events of this survival of the Chinese nation. For this reason the Chinese Society of Union Club and FCCCI will be holding an jointly commemorate event on August 22 to memorize the 70th anniversary of the victory of Anti-Japanese War. The commemoration activities will be conducted in the form of seminars, and we welcome members and their families to attend.
